A soccer model focused on the training of young players requires a significant investment in the development of its young talents, starting at the youth level, to project them to their subsidiary teams, before making the leap to their first teams.
What is the methodology at SIA Academy like?
Our process is based on the integral improvement of the player/person by giving him/her autonomy, prioritizing the observation of his/her natural behaviors in the different contexts that appear/create in the tasks.
Through guided discovery, allowing the player to be the protagonist of his learning through questions and interactions with the coach and teammates.
Off the field we are an example for the player values such as companionship, the culture of effort, responsibility and courage. We identify these human values as pillars of our way of being/playing/living and thus show them to ourselves and our opponents.
How is it integrated into the player's daily life?
- Through our guides and contents
- By prioritizing what is applied in the match.
- The priority of our sessions is that meaningful behaviors appear during all tasks.
- All the concepts of the game appear simultaneously to know how they are related.
- We have a continuous training to our players weekly through our highly trained technicians and a video analysis department where in addition to being able to see/reflect on their margins of improvement, they learn to handle tools that can be useful in the future.
What benefits does it generate for the player?
It increases our players' expectations of success as they receive positive/constructive feedback that allows them to reflect on the different situations they experience.
We adapt and perceive the difficulty of the tasks and adapt them to their level so that the player feels capable.
We prioritize in reference to the objectives we have in our planning for each stage, giving value to our identity traits that characterize us.
The player learns from the practice of the game giving space to the error. We encourage their understanding.
We give importance to the fact that they have a lot of practice time, controlling the structural and logistical elements that encourage it during the training sessions.
Why do we differ from the rest regarding our methodology?
We supervise daily the state of our players, providing them with individualized training to optimize their qualities, not only focusing on their technical-tactical improvements but also providing them with a follow-up of their physical preparation, controlling their rests, measuring their performance, as well as controlling their nutrition with our nutrition department.
We also have our psychology department where through dynamics and workshops they optimize their emotional section and generate bonds with their teammates that make them connect with their best version. The daily work with the tutors of the residence is also essential in our day to day because our process goes down to the smallest detail, as we believe that all structures are equally important for the development of our players / people.
All our coaches, trainers and staff are highly qualified and have a great national and international experience, which makes us make a difference in the process in terms of quality, since they are all Spanish nationals and have been trained in the reference country, which is ours, as far as the king of sports is concerned.
What services are being offered within the methodology department?
In addition to the daily and weekly monitoring of loads, performance and the acquisition of our identity traits, players and their families receive a quarterly detailed report of all the progress they are making, which includes all the aforementioned sections as well as a personalized video of their moments both in sessions and in matches.
What does a player need to be a professional from a methodology approach?
Becoming a professional in the world of soccer requires a lot of sacrifice, effort and renunciation, commitment is one of the fundamental factors.
Always arrive early to each of the weekly sessions, make an effort in each of them, even on the days when we are less successful because that will bring us an incalculable long-term benefit.
Always give 100% regardless of the weather, the day, the opponent and my state of mind. Make mistakes and learn from them, be constant and persistent. To ask questions, to doubt and to be participative in the process in which I am a protagonist.
To respect the trainers and all the staff, to make the most of the time to train and learn from everything and everyone.
To be conscious and consistent with nutrition and rest, fundamental factors for performance. Prepare all the necessary material before each training, take care of it and pick it up after training.
Analyze every game I play and see where I can improve. Watch matches of the best to see how you can be like them.
Finish the day worried if we haven't done our best to improve. Show a willingness to learn about everything that surrounds soccer and do things convinced that your efforts on and off the field will make you your best version.
